Blue Banana Software creates tools for people navigating ADHD, neurodivergent traits, remote work routines, and constant digital demands. Our work starts from real constraints: limited attention, uneven energy, and the need for clarity rather than noise.
Our apps address everyday challenges such as time blindness, missed meetings, hyperfocus, mental overload, and difficulty maintaining routines. We focus on software that does one thing well, stays predictable, and supports attention instead of competing for it.
We believe productivity should feel steady and supportive, not urgent or overwhelming. Our tools are designed to help people focus, pause, and regain a sense of rhythm, while respecting different ways of thinking, working, and recovering.
Ethics guide how we build. We avoid dark patterns, artificial urgency, and extractive data practices. We are careful with notifications, respectful of privacy, and transparent about how our tools behave. Our goal is to create software people can trust and rely on, without feeling monitored, pushed, or manipulated.
Accessibility and inclusion shape our decisions from the start. We aim to make our tools readable, calm, and adaptable, so they can fit into real lives rather than asking people to adapt to the software.
Blue Banana Software grows slowly and deliberately. We listen closely, learn from lived experience, and improve over time. Our long-term goal is to build a small, trusted ecosystem of tools that support a calmer and more sustainable relationship with technology.
The way we build reflects the people behind Blue Banana Software. You can learn more about how we work and who we are on the Team page.
Alongside our apps, we publish Blue Banana Bites, a newsletter where we slow things down and reflect on focus, neurodiversity, creativity, and thoughtful ways of working with technology.
How this shows up in our apps
- We design apps to interrupt gently, only when needed.
- We avoid dark patterns, growth tricks, and attention traps.
- We prioritize clarity, predictability, and long-term usability.
- We build tools meant to support focus, not optimize output at all costs.
We intentionally do not build products that rely on urgency, addiction, or constant engagement.
